Hello! I am going to Disney World with my 4 month old, I know car seats are not needed for the trip, however, what can we do during dinner reservations? She is not at the point of sitting up on her own yet so not sure if the typical high chair will work.

Hi Kaitlyn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It makes me smile as I think about your upcoming trip with your little one. My son's first Walt Disney World Resort vacation was at 6-months-old, while my daughter was only 4-months-old on her first Disney trip. I still remember how their faces lit up when they saw their favorite Characters for the first time! I also have a great picture of my daughter crying while meeting Mickey Mouse. But I have good news for you, mom ... they are both special memories and I'm SO glad we have them to laugh about now.

When my daughter was the age of your daughter, we took along an infant car seat for our dining reservations. We also took our own stroller since the car seat fit with it, so it wasn't any inconvenience at all to have the car seat in the theme parks! This worked out perfectly for us because otherwise I would have needed to hold her the entire meal. If you are flying, you can gate check your infant car seat (and stroller if you bring one), then when you arrive at Disney's Magical Express at Orlando International Airport just have them store it under the bus while you make your way to your Disney Resort hotel.

Enjoy your vacation, Kaitlyn! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
