Hi Heath,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a great question!
There are tons of Disney Dining options for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort later this summer. The wide variety of culinary experiences really ensures that there’s a dining experience for every Guest, including those who enjoy a good glass of wine or cocktail as part of their meal.
That said, there are very few Walt Disney World Restaurants that include alcohol as part of the basic “prix fixe” meal experience and, even then, cocktails are rarely included. For example, some
Dinner Shows or Dining Events, such as
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort do include unlimited draft beer, wine and sangria for Guests 21 years of age and older, but those offers are few and far between. There are several “prix fixe” meals, such as
California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort that do offer a series of wine pairings or wine flights to enhance your experience, but they’re subject to an additional charge. Cocktails at this location, many of which are delicious and really quite creative, are also priced separately.
My suggestion for you when you’re picking your
Disney Dining Reservations for your upcoming vacation: take a look at the location’s entire menu when deciding where you’d like to dine. If you scroll down, you’ll often see that location’s wine and cocktail menu. Even though the menus can change seasonally, especially at
Fine Dining and Signature restaurants, you’ll get a good sense of what types of items are typically offered at that location.
And don’t forget to branch out and check out some of the great
Lounges both inside and outside of the Theme Parks, such as
Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and
Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
I hope my answer helps you plan a delicious and indulgent Disney Parks vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
