Hello, I have a dinner reservation at BOG on 6:25PM, on November 15, 2015. I am also planning to attend MVMCP afterwards. I was just wondering how long dinner usually takes and if we will miss much of the party? Thank you in advance!

Hi Brittany! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I hope that you are getting really excited. Your magical vacation is just around the corner. It is usually at this point in my planning process where I am finalizing my packing lists, checking weather, and dreaming of Disney!

I tend to find that whenever I am sitting down for a meal at the Walt Disney World resort at a table service restaurant, the meal typically takes anywhere from 60-90 minutes. I always take into consideration who I am dining with. My children seem to eat quicker and want to get out to play much quicker. My in-laws on the other hand really like to take their time eating and enjoy the experience. At Be Our Guest Restaurant one of the big draws besides delicious food is the experience. If you are hoping for an expedited experience, one of the things that you can do is ask for the check when your meal is served. This cuts down on a little bit of the wait time at the end of your meal.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party offers a lot of activities, shows, and entertainment. The last time I attended this party, I was able to enter the park at 4:00 PM with my party ticket (please note that this can change at any time.) While the actual extra Christmas entertainment isn’t happening at this time, it does give you some additional time to experience some of your favorite attractions. Since you are planning on dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant, I suggest getting to Magic Kingdom Park as close to 4:00 PM as possible!

I hope that you have a festive and magical evening!
