Hello, I have a daughter who qualified for DAS in 2023. If I purchase tickets without lightning lane and she does not qualify for DAS this year, am I able to add Lightning Lane at a date within 30 days of our visit? If so, how is this done? Thank you!

Hey there, Geoffrey! Welcome to planDisney! Planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth this fall? Oh boy, that's exciting news! Let's polish up those plans so they're practically perfect and ready for maximum fun when you arrive.

Adding Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a great idea to maximize the magic! You can often upgrade existing, unused tickets with this feature before you arrive. It's like adding boosters to your Astro Orbiter, setting you up for more streamlined fun (and perhaps more time for snacks!). Head over to the theme park ticket modifications page to get started. In just a few quick steps, you should be able to upgrade any eligible tickets.

Another great option is to add Lightning Lane Multi Pass functionality on the day of your visit! If you decide to wait, you can easily purchase the pass right after scanning into the park. Just open the Disneyland mobile app, tap the menu button (three-lined icon) at the bottom right, and select "Lightning Lane Passes". Once you complete the purchase, you'll have access to Lightning Lane entrances for numerous attractions, helping you have a truly Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Day!

While you're exploring options in the app, you’ll also notice the opportunity to purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass. This individual pass grants you Lightning Lane access for galaxy-saving missions on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or speedy races through Ornament Valley on Radiator Springs Racers. These are separate purchases for just those specific attractions, handy if you only want hyper-speed access to one or two headliners.

Beyond maximizing your ride time with Lightning Lane passes, let's revisit Disability Access Service (DAS) for your daughter! It sounds like you’re already very familiar with this service, but I wanted to offer a quick refresher as you plan your upcoming trip. You can check DAS eligibility up to 60 days before your visit via live video chat with a Disneyland Resort Cast Member. Just visit the DAS registration page to get started. You can also register on the day of your visit by stopping by the Accessibility Services kiosk. Whether you register via video chat or in person, the individual who will be receiving DAS benefits—in this case, your daughter—will need to be present. Helpful Cast Members will guide you through the process, which should only take a few minutes.

I hope this helps chart your course for fun, Geoffrey! With the dazzling Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration in full swing during your visit, the park promises extra layers of enchantment and festive surprises around every corner! Keep an eye out for shimmering decorations down Main Street, U.S.A., lots of delectable treats, exciting parades, and new evening spectaculars lighting up the night sky! Wishing you and your daughter a truly wonderful trip! If more questions pop up, you know where to find your pals at planDisney!
