Hello, I am cruising on the Disney Wonder September 2014. I am looking into possibly booking the Fire and Ice pedicure. Has any one on the Mom panel ever had this specific treatment? Was wondering if it was worth the price of admission.

    Welcome aboard, Jerilin!

So great to hear that you are on your final countdown to your Disney Cruise voyage on the Disney Wonder. You'll be partying with Captain Mickey and his crew on the Sail Away Party very soon... your household is probably buzzing with excitement now!

The Vista Spa & Salon is one of my happy places while onboard the spectacular Disney Wonder. The minute you walk in and get a whiff of the aromatics in the spa, it literally commands your brain to forget everything else... "It's ME Time"! Scheduling my 'me time' at the Spa is a must whenever I go on a Disney Cruise voyage. If I can't get a reservation for a massage, then I will gladly take the pampering with the Fire and Ice Pedicure and/or Manicure. I like scheduling my Mani or Pedi at the tail end of the cruise. By that time, my feet will need a little bit of melting... and the hot stones that they use for the Fire & Ice treatment is perfect. They also use Elemis products at the Spa, which I'm totally addicted to. That Frangipani Monoi Oil topped off with their Milk Bath cream that they use, works wonders to soften your sun drenched skin. All that walking does weird stuff to your feet, and the ladies at the Spa know exactly how to bring your sea legs and feet back to supple softness. If you do the manicure, they offer CND shellac - perfect touch to get your nails all sparkly ready when you head home. You will surely be staring at your nails while waiting at the customs line on disembarkation day. And you'll have the prettiest hands and feet coming back from vacation. With your treatment, you'll also be able to make use of the relaxing waiting rooms and sauna facilities. So make sure you plan enough time before or after your treatment.

Better yet, get a day pass to the Spa - it's a nice plus to check out, Jerilin! Have a great time!
