Hello,I will be coming to WDW for 4 days in August with my 6 yr old boy and 3 yr old girl. My boy loves all Disney villans and my girl loves the princesses. They are both fans of DisneyJR characters. It will be our first visit. What do you recommend?

    Hi Asha,

I am thrilled to hear you are planning your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort so soon.  You will love making lifetime memories with your little prince and princess as their dreams come alive.

The Disney Junior characters are some of my children's favorite friends.  We always enjoy the Disney Junior Play 'n Dine breakfast or lunch at the Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Kids are encouraged to dance, play and sing along as they eat and visit with characters such as: Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Jake and Handy Manny.

Both of your little ones might really enjoy The Pirates League at the Magic Kingdom.  Your son can transform into a swashbuckling pirate, while your daughter can become a lovely empress or mermaid. My kids just love this adventure and taking part in the daily Parade of Pirates (weather permitting.)

There are so many wonderful things to see and do, but I am all out of room for now.  Visit the Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones site for some more fun ideas and please send me another question if you'd like me to share some more of our family favorites.

    Have a wonderful vacation, Asha!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
