Hey Howdy Hey, Sheila!
Linking theme park tickets together is a great way to keep your cast of characters all wrangled up whenever you are on an adventure to the Happiest Place On Earth. One of my good friends has my
Magic Key linked to hers. That way, she can make a
theme park reservation for me (because sometimes, I forget!). Also, we can take turns booking
Lightning Lane return times and scan each other through the turnstiles whenever we meet up to enter the parks.
I also recently got to spend a few days at the resort with a large group of my adult friends. Some of them had never been to our California resort before, so we made the most of our time by using the Disney Genie+ to its fullest potential. With Lightning Lane access and unlimited
Disney PhotoPass downloads, we were living our best lives.
Sheila, have you already downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile App? This is a great way to scan your
theme park tickets when you arrive, and I love how helpful it is to me when I'm planning my next visit to the resort even while I’m at home. If more than one member of your party has the Disneyland Mobile app on their mobile device, you all can link each other’s admission tickets to everyone else’s accounts.
From the mobile app, find the ☰ feature menu at the bottom right. Then choose “Tickets and Passes” at the top left. From there, tap the “Link Tickets & Passes” button near the top of the screen. If it isn’t showing, tap the ‘+’ button in the upper-righthand corner. You can then scan another ticket using the device camera or typing in the ticket ID. Once all of your theme park tickets are linked, you can make reservations for your whole party!
My fellow panelist,
Tony S, also has some useful tips for linking your party’s tickets together and enjoying the Lightning Lane entrances that the Disney Genie+ Service makes available to you!
I hope this information helps you link your theme park tickets, Sheila. You and your Mouseketeers are sure to have a rootinest tootinest time visiting the Disneyland Resort in the wild wild west! Don't hesitate to
ask me directly if you have any further questions. Now that you've got a friend in me, I’d love to help however I can.
Happy trails,
Danielle
