Like you, Liana, I'm all about maximizing magic and minimizing waits, so I'm a big fan of Walt Disney World Resort's
Lightning Lane passes. With this in mind, I'm happy to report that modifying Lightning Lane selections in the My Disney Experience app is as easy as
bibbidi bobbidi boo!
As soon as you have completed your
purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you'll be able to modify the time or selected attraction pending availability. Today I was even able to change the date of my Multi Pass purchase directly in the app when I accidentally purchased the incorrect date! Happily, this ability to modify each individual selected attraction continues until you have scanned into that particular attraction's queue.
It's important to keep in mind that while you can modify your Muti Pass purchase to a different theme park than your initial selection if there is a price difference between the two, you would be responsible for paying the difference if the new selection were priced higher and would not be refunded if the price is lower. Additionally, while all 3 of your initial selections must be in the same theme park, once you have used your first selected experience, you will be free to modify your remaining selections to any theme park at no additional charge if desired.
If you find that your desired attractions or times are not available initially, I encourage you to keep checking back. In my experience, availability constantly changes as other Guests modify their plans. I've even been able to secure Lightning Lane passes for
Tiana's Bayou Adventure and
Slinky Dog Dash while inside the theme parks!
