Hello, I have booked a hotel stay with Disney vacations, but plan on purchasing my park tickets elsewhere as I get a discount through my work. I am wondering if I can link the tickets I purchase and still be able to buy a Disney dining plan?

    Howdy Claire!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I love chatting about the Disney Dining Plans and all the yummy options!  Thank you for sharing this question with us!

Since you have booked your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation through Walt Disney World directly, then you will be eligible to add one of the delicious Disney Dining Plans to your vacation.  I would “call” the Walt Disney World Resort directly and speak with a Cast Member to add your Disney Dining Plan.  I have placed a link in the word “call” above.  This link will bring you to the “Guest Services” page, and you will find the phone number at the bottom of the page.  Also, you can easily link your tickets through your My Disney Experience using the Ticket ID located on your tickets.

There has been a fantastic addition to the Disney Dining Plans.  The Walt Disney World Resort is now offering the new Disney Dining Plan Plus!  This plan has the most flexibility.  With Disney Dining Plan Plus, you can choose any combination of Table-Service and Quick-Service per night of your stay.  So, if you decide to use all of your meal entitlements as Table-Services, all as Quick-Services, or decide to mix it up, then you can!  You will also be allotted two snacks per night of your stay and one refillable mug for your visit!  I love this new addition to the options of the Disney Dining Plans!

EPCOT will be offering an “Out of this World” dining experience soon!  The new Space 220 is going to be an amazing dining experience that will take all guests on an adventure like no other.  I can hardly wait to experience this must-do!  There are so many things planned for 2020 and 2021!  To stay up-to-date on everything, check out the Disney Parks Blog!  Also, if you have any more questions while you are planning, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We love and look forward to assisting you with your planning needs!  Happy planning, Claire!
