Hello, Jeff! Welcome to
planDisney.
It is amazing to know that you are staying at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. If this is your first time staying at this
Disneyland Resort Hotel, be prepared to fall in love. The hotel is awe-inspiring, luxurious, and so cozy. Delicious dining, relaxing pools, and proximity to the Theme Parks are just a few benefits you can expect.
Regarding your question, I called
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and spoke to a Cast Member who confirmed that you can park an oversized vehicle while staying at the hotel. He recommends parking your vehicle first before checking into the hotel. Unfortunately, an oversized vehicle cannot be accommodated at the hotel entrance due to the lack of space. The parking lot is located directly across the street from the hotel. After parking, you will simply cross the street and enter the hotel. If the lot happens to be full, it is possible to park at the
Toy Story Parking Area. The cost to park an oversized vehicle is $45 per vehicle, per night. Please keep in mind that parking fees are subject to change.
Jeff, when you are visiting the parks, I recommend taking advantage of the
Early Entry Benefit. Then take a mid-day break enjoy the
hotel amenities, and return to the parks in the evening. I also suggest ordering the
Baked Nachos at the
GCH Craftsman Bar while enjoying the pool area!
I hope this answers your question, Jeff. Please feel free to return with any other questions you have. I wish you the happiest visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth!
Your Pal,
Alejandra
