Hey, Kevin! Welcome to planDisney.
It's always a pleasure to see a fellow-Merseysider planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. It's not long now until you'll be hopping on a magic carpet and flying to a whole new world. You're going to have a "boss" time staying at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I had the pleasure of staying at Gran Destino Tower last year and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The theming and décor have a charming elegance about them that makes you feel as though you're staying in a Deluxe Resort. The dining options are also very impressive. The food at
Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood is delicious (the views aren't bad either). And
Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago is a hidden gem. But I'm also a man of simple pleasures. And so I love ordering a tasty coffee from
Barcelona Lounge and walking around Lago Dorado first thing in the morning. I also think the
Dig Site Pool is one of the best pools on property. I'm so happy you'll get to experience this hotel, Kevin.
Kevin, starting with visits on January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. Like most Disney Parks fans, I'm so excited about this change! However, until then, you'll still have to
make your theme park reservations. Therefore, if you haven't done that yet, let me encourage you to do it as soon as possible.
I hope that's helpful, Kevin. Enjoy every magical moment. 14 days is a "practically perfect" amount of time to soak up everything.
As we say in Liverpool, "Ta-ra mate!"
Mike
