Hello Sara!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so sorry you got your days mixed up. As a busy working mom of four, I can see how easy it would be to mix up your days at the
Disneyland Resort. I was having the same struggle when planning our November visit.
Since the trip is so close, you don’t have a lot of options left. An automatic swapping of
Dining Reservations is not something that can be accommodated. There would have to be existing availability at each location for you to get to a table. I would recommend that you consider changing your dining reservations to the correct park. This may mean that you don’t end up with your first choice of location or time, but you’d still have a magical meal to look forward to. Other Guests do change their plans and cancel, so you should check back regularly, especially in the days leading up to your trip. There are also services out there such as MouseDining that will send you an email if they see the reservation you are looking for appear. You would then attempt to make the reservation yourself, but the MouseDining service can give you a valuable heads-up.
The other option would be to try to switch your
Theme Park Reservations. While you can cancel and rebook reservations, you also cannot just swap them. Unfortunately, again with the trip being so close, it looks like park availability is pretty limited. While you could also continue to check for increased availability there, I think it is unlikely it will change at this point. You could arrive early and ask on-site about switching parks, but I would be prepared for a "no" answer.
Another option, depending on when your lunch reservations are for, would be to consider adding a
park hopper option to your tickets. The Park Hopper option would allow you to enter the other theme park, after 1 PM. If you have a later lunch reservation or a dinner reservation, you might still be able to make that reservation after hopping to the second park.
I hope you can get it straightened out, and even if you end up at someplace other than your first choice, know there are many delicious and magical places to dine at the Disneyland Resort.
Sending you pixie dust for the perfect reservation!
