Hello- I want to be able to drop my folks off at the gate of each park (and closet spot for Transportation and Ticket Center) and then go park the car. Is this an option? Thank you for your help. Cindy

    Hi Cynthia! Welcome to planDisney!

Can you believe that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in just a few more days?! Your vacation is almost here, and I know just how exciting those last few days of a vacation countdown are. You will be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. before you know it!

You are so sweet to think of your parents! When you enter the parking lot, you will pay for parking, but let the Cast Member know that you need to drop your parents off before parking. This may vary by the theme park, but you will probably be directed to the passenger drop-off area (the same spot that is used by taxis and ride-share services) to let your parents out closer to the entrance, then you will exit that area and head to the main parking lot. There are directional signs throughout the parking lot that will let you know where to go.

With most of the parking lots, if you arrive early you can get a spot close to the front of the parking lot and the walk from there is actually very short! The lots open about 45 minutes before the theme park opening hours, and getting there early is also a great way to get in a few attractions before the crowds get larger.

I hope you have a great visit, Cynthia! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
