Hi Jill, and welcome to planDisney! I also love seeing the commemorative paving stones when I’m going to the theme parks. It always reminds me of the many magical guests who make
Disneyland such a special place. So let’s chat about those pavers.
The personalized bricks in the Esplanade were part of a program called Walk of Magical Memories, which ran in the early 2000s and ended in 2011. Currently, there aren’t any opportunities to purchase a new paving stone at the Disneyland, though I’ve sometimes seen personalized bricks you can purchase for your home through the
Disney Store website. It’s not something that’s currently for sale, but keep an eye on the Disney Store website if that’s something you’re interested in!
While the bricks aren’t available at the moment, there are some other really cool personalized Disney merchandise items that I wanted to mention. At
Plaza Point, Cast Members can decorate keepsakes like ornaments and select ear headbands with your name! There are also a few stores, including
Disney Showcase, where you can get a variety of merchandise embroidered, like clothes and tote bags. And if you’re ready to channel your inner Jedi, head to
Droid Depot, where you can even get embroidery done in Aurebesh! How cool is that?!
I hope this gives you some ideas for creating a personalized keepsake to remember your magical visits! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
