Hello Denise! Welcome to the Moms Panel. This is a great question for me because on our most recent trip to Walt Disney World with my family, I decided that we were going to only purchase the
Quick Service Dining Plan. This turned out to be a great option for us - we are more of a spontaneous type of family, and we don't really like being tied down to specific parks or restaurants! This really gave us the option of eating when we wanted and where we wanted, and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again for our next trip.
With the Quick Service Dining Plan, each member of your traveling party will receive 2 Quick Service Meals and 1 Snack per day, along with a refillable resort mug. A Quick Service meals is one entree or combo, one dessert(at lunch and dinner only) and one non-alcoholic beverage. The current pricing is as follows: $37.58 per night for ages 10 and up, and $14.32 per night for ages 3 - 9.
Some of our favorite, and best uses of the Quick Service Dining Plan were the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco at Epcot, Be Our Guest Restaurant (lunch only) at Magic Kingdom, and Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney Marketplace. You will get a hearty meal that's anything but "fast food" from all of these locations. In fact, we found that if you just had the Quick Service Dining Plan, you would never have to eat a burger or hot dog if you didn't want to - there really is a great variety of delicious options available.
Denise, if you have any other questions about the Quick Service Dining Plan, or any other planning aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation, please write me back and I would be more than happy to help you! Have a magical day!
