    Hello.God willing my family and I will be staying in the Coronado Springs Resort for our upcoming trip this August 2011. My husband has bad knees and we want to book a preferred room. Which buidling is closest to the main lobby and transportation area?

    Hi! I hope your family is blessed with a WDW vacation this August!

    I have stayed at the Coronado Springs Resort on at least three separate trips. It is a sprawling resort, however a preferred room will give your family closer access to the main building. El Centro houses the Front Desk, gift shop, quick service restaurant, Pepper Market food court and the Maya Grill restaurant. Out front of El Centro is Bus Stop 1.

    I would recommend Casitas Section 1 for close proximity to the main building as well as a bus stop.

    In addition, you may want to look into renting an ECV (electric convenience vehicle). An ECV rental would allow your husband to travel in comfort throughout Coronado Springs as well as the theme parks. Renting from an outside agency such as www.caremedicalequipment.com would give provide your husband with an ECV to smooth his travels during your entire stay.
