Welcome to planDisney, Olivia. Let's get your question answered!
At this time, meals redeemed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan include 1 entrée and 1 nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 or older). Right now, desserts are not included in this dining plan. Of course, after you finish your
quick-service meal, you can redeem your snack for the day at one of the many options around the resort designated as a snack on your dining plan. If you'd like dessert to be included with your dining plan meal, you can purchase the
Disney Dining Plan, which usually includes a dessert when redeeming your
table-service meals at brunch, lunch, or dinner (buffet or family-style meals included in this dining plan generally offer a selection of dessert items as well).
While I may not be as good as my friend
Kaitlin P., hunting down delicious snacks at the
Walt Disney World Resort is a bit of a hobby for me. A classic DOLE Whip at
Aloha Isle, a sundae at
Storybook Treats, and a milkshake at
Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies are just some examples of items that usually qualify as a snack at
Magic Kingdom Park (offerings subject to change). Not only do each of these items make a great dessert for after a satisfying meal, but those are just
some of the options at just
one of the theme parks! The resort is full of snacks that can easily be a dessert and I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find something that speaks directly to you and your travel party!
Olivia, happy planning and happy eating. If you have any other questions,
you can send them my way.
Eat
all the good stuff,
Matt
