    Hello For Thanksgiving at Storytellers—do the characters come out for the dinner or just the buffet?

    Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us! 

    Storyteller’s Cafe is a wonderful dining experience at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! I inquired with a Cast Member, and Karen confirmed that unfortunately, the characters at Mickey’s Bountiful Breakfast Buffet will not appear for Thanksgiving dinner. The characters offer meet and greets during breakfast and brunch, but take off in the early afternoon to begin preparations for the following day’s breakfast! 

    If you wish to have a character dining experience for dinner, you can at Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel! This character dining experience offers zany decor, various dining stations, and dancing! The characters rotate to each table for personal meet and greets, where they will happily sign autograph books and take pictures with guests! Be sure to make an advanced dining reservation 60 days before your visit, because guests will be clamoring to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with Chef Goofy and pals!
