Hello, For the ride of Tron. Can one adult accompany two children (7 and 11) for the ride? Or does it have to two adults accompany two children. Thank you.

Welcome to the Grid, Vy. And welcome to planDisney. It won't be long before you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy. You must be so excited!

To race on TRON Lifecycle / Run, competitors must be 48" tall. Only racers ages 6 or younger must be accompanied by someone at least 12 or older. As long as your children (ages 7 and 11) meet the height requirement, you can all ride without needing adult supervision.

There are two ways to secure your entry to race in the Grid and cross the 8 energy gates:

    1. The Virtual Queue gives you access to the Standby Line. You can try for the Virtual Queue at 7 am. I recommend opening the My Disney Experience app and being ready no later than 6:55 am to refresh precisely at 7:00. These spots go faster than the Blue Team racers. To do this, go to the app's menu ("≡" at the bottom of the screen) and select "Virtual Queue" from the options under "My Visit." Follow the prompts to "Join a Virtual Queue" and hope for the best. If you get a Virtual Queue entry, you will be assigned a Boarding Group and will be able to head to the Virtual Queue line once your group is called. If you do not get in the queue at 7 am, there will be another opportunity at 1 pm for Guests inside Magic Kingdom Park.
    2. Individual Lightning Lane entries are available to purchase for TRON Lifecycle / Run. Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection or other select hotel can purchase Individual Lightning Lane entries starting at 7 am. Other Guests may purchase them once the park opens. With an Individual Lightning Lane entry, you can select when you want to race the Grid. Once it is your selected time, you can go to the Lightning Lane entry.
I always try for the Virtual Queue. If lucky enough to get a Boarding Group, I may still purchase an Individual Lightning Lane. On my first trip to ride TRON, I got a Boarding Group in the 50s range, so I knew I would get to ride in the middle of the day. Based on this, I purchased an Individual Lightning Lane for 9 pm. Like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, it feels different at night.

TRON Lifecycle / Run is one of the fastest coasters at any Disney theme park in the world, and I hope it is a part of your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Please coast back by planDisney with any other questions. We are happy to help!

And best of luck in digital world without horizons!
