Hi Kanoe!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you are considering a Disney Cruise Line adventure with your little Mouseketeer! My oldest son was seven-months old on his first Disney Cruise Line vacation and it was the first of many “Mickey Boat” adventures for my family! With
pack-and-plays and diaper pails in your stateroom to the onboard nursery, they make it easy for you to relax and enjoy yourself even with a tiny one!
From my experience, I have found that it’s best to book your vacation earlier than later! Pricing only seems to go up as the voyage approaches, so you will likely be able to secure the best rate the farther out you plan. Additionally, as the ship fills up, stateroom selection becomes a little more limited. While everyone tends to have their favorite area of the ship to stay on, we have found that we prefer the forward part of the ship and on Decks 5 or 6. When traveling with a little one, I do recommend looking at a
deck plan prior to booking your stateroom to ensure you are not going to be above or below a venue that may result in a little more noise . Therefore, I recommend not staying under a lounge or nightclub or below Cabanas buffet restaurant. If you have a travel agent that you like working with, use them to book your vacation, but if not – contact Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to have them assist you with your reservation. I have not found pricing to be different if you book online vs booking over the phone, so I always opt for booking by phone.
Once you get your magical adventure booked, please come back with any and all questions you have!
