Hello-early planner here-how far in advance does Disney release their park hours, EMHs, Christmas Party Hours, etc. I will be thee Nov 27-Dec 5th and would like to put an itinerary together.

Hi John! Thanks for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! First off, congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World!

I’m in the same boat as you as I’m also an early planner! There’s nothing like a daily countdown. While it’s always hard to pinpoint when Walt Disney World will release their hours for this Winter, typically I start planning around 180 days prior to our vacation. This doesn’t mean you can’t start mapping out a plan now, but in terms of booking restaurant reservations, this is the date to keep in mind! In the past I’ve been known to search for previous dates to help map out plans, but the dates for 2020 are certainly subject to change.

In terms of Special Event Tickets, hours for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will open to the public shortly after Disney releases the hours for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (and I expect those dates to be announced soon). Might I suggest following the Disney Parks Blog to be one of the first to know when the 2020 dates are released!

Best of luck with the early planning! If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
