Hello, Does the Military program discount available to veterans as well? If so, what do they need to show for proof and where would they be able to purchase the tickets? Thank you :)

    Greetings Christine!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. First I'd like to extend a thank you to the veteran in your family for serving. At this time the military discounts at the Disneyland Resort for tickets, Disney Photopass, and Disneyland Resort hotel rooms are exclusively for active and retired U.S. military personnel and their families. These specially priced 3-Day and 4-Day Park Hopper Tickets can be purchased at your local military base ticket office with proper military identification.

Veterans and their families won't want to miss out on a very special tradition that takes place every day at 5:00 PM in Disneyland Park. Current and former members of the military are invited to gather around the flagpole in the middle of Town Square for the Flag Retreat Ceremony that has been taking place since Disneyland's earliest days. This very patriotic ceremony honors these brave men and women with music and a star-spangled salute. It is one of the oldest traditions at the park and something everyone, but especially veterans, should experience at least once.

I hope this helps, and I wish you and your family a magical day!
