Hello, Does Disneyland Resorts offer a discount on their hotels for 100 disabled Veterans who possess the DAVPRM ID?

Hey howdy hey, Ted, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians plan their next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, so let’s get started!

First off, I want to thank you for your service! We are so appreciative of the sacrifices you and your family have made for our country. The Disneyland Resort is proud to offer wonderful discounts on theme-park tickets and hotel stays to U.S. Military Members. I checked with my dear friend, military wife, and fellow Panelist, Kristen N., to get the scoop. She said the answer to your question is most likely yes, so long as your Retired ID is DD Form 1173 or DD Form 2765 and lists DAVPRM. Keep in mind that just because you can see hotel availability on the Disneyland.com website doesn’t necessarily mean a military rate is available, so in order to book this discount, you’ll need to call a helpful Disneyland Resort Cast Member at (800) 642-5392, or use a Travel Agent who is certified and qualified to book with Disneyland Resort.

Now, for hotel planning… have you thought about where you want to stay? You can choose between three Disneyland Resort Hotels, including Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel, and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel.  I’ve had the opportunity to stay at all three Resort Hotels, and have enjoyed each one for different reasons. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is one of my favorites, thanks to the exclusive entrance into Disney California Adventure Park. My children love taking a park break midday to enjoy the beautiful pools here, too!

I hope this helps, Ted. Please stop by with any additional planning questions you may have… I’m all EARs!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
