Hi there, Constance! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
At this time, the Disneyland Resort does not sell partial-day tickets unless you happen to be part of a convention that has set up twilight tickets for convention goers. Usually, the parks are open late, so even if you aren't entering until later in the afternoon, there is still plenty of fun to be had. The majority of attractions are open until the parks close and you may even encounter a few characters after sunset. And of course there is nighttime entertainment like
Fantasmic! and
fireworks on select nights.
Exploring the parks after dark is actually one of my favorite things. Temperatures are usually delightfully cool and so many areas of the parks light up magnificently at night. Cars Land, in particular, completely transforms each day at dusk. It's called the "sh-boom" moment when all the neon signs light up brilliantly. Plus, riding
Radiator Springs Racers at night is simply breathtaking and should be on everyone's must-do list!
I hope this helps. Have a fantastic time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
