Hello, Does anyone know what time they typically schedule the parade that includes the school bands? Morning? Afternoon? Won't hold anyone to an Just attempting to schedule dining reservations around one. Thanks! Wendy

    Hi Wendy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! When I was a teen, I was lucky enough to visit and perform at the Walt Disney World Resort with my Fife & Drum Corps. Those trips were truly a highlight of my teen years. This experience came full circle last November, when I was able to watch my son march down Main Street, U.S.A. with his high school marching band! While it was a beautiful, clear day at the Walt Disney World Resort, things got a little misty for me at the Magic Kingdom. It was truly the perfect Disney day for this mama.

I appreciate that you won’t hold me to the exact time since you probably know that things can and do change! What I can tell you is that last fall, the Festival of Fantasy Parade was scheduled for 2 pm, and my son’s band was scheduled to begin the pre-parade at 1:30 pm. They marched the day after Thanksgiving, and two other marching bands were performing in the parade as well. All the bands looked fantastic and it was an amazing experience for my son. Since he is lucky enough to visit Walt Disney World so often, he spent most of the trip functioning as his own mini “Disney Teen Panel” for his fellow band members, fielding questions on where to eat, how to use their FastPass+ options, or what to ride next. He made me proud!

I hope this helps with your planning, Wendy. If you have more questions as the trip approaches, please let me know if I can help you. Sending you pixie dust for that perfect dining reservation!
