Hello, Do you know the hours of operation for Disney’s Oceaneer Lab aboard Disney Dream?

    Ahoy Destiny,

Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line planning question. The Disney Dream is the first ship that my family cruised on with Disney Cruise Line. What a wonderful and beautiful ship. I am excited for you to be sailing aboard her soon!

From that first cruise my family took, our daughter absolutely loved the children's areas onboard the Disney ships. Disney's Oceaneer Lab is a fantastic place for children to play and explore with other children their own age. The themes in these locations are phenomenal, and the activities offered daily are varied and fun. The youth activities counselors are energetic and caring. It is a great place for children to be!

For all of the youth areas onboard the Disney ships, the daily operating hours will vary slightly. Typically, for the Oceaneer Lab and the Oceaneer Club, these hours will be about 9:00 a.m. to midnight. These may vary slightly depending on ports of call or Open Houses occurring in those spaces. The best bet, once you are onboard, is to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the specific hours for each day of your sailing for each of these locations.

One more bit of information. Did you know that while you are visiting Disney Castaway Cay, there is a youth activity area on the island? It is called Scuttle's Cove, and just like on the ship, Disney youth activities cast members are there to host your child and do lots of fun activities with them. On our first-ever trip to Castaway Cay, we had planned a day at the family beach. As we walked past Scuttle's Cove, our daughter pointed at it and said, "What's that?" We did not know, so we went up and discovered that it was a youth activity area! She asked to play there. We signed her in, and then off we went to Serenity Bay for a couple of hours at the adults-only beach. We picked her up midday and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon together. It was a great way for everyone to have lots of fun on Castaway Cay!

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Destiny! Please feel free to sail on back to planDisney with any further questions you have in planning your magical voyage.
