Hi Betina and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
As the mom of two picky eaters, I completely understand your dilemma. Dining at
Cinderella's Royal Table is an experience. I think there's something particularly magical about dining in a castle! If you are using a
Disney Dining Plan, your 11-year-old will be charged as an adult. If you are paying out-of-pocket, the restaurant will more than likely charge your 11-year-old as an adult.
You can ask politely if they will allow her to choose a meal from the children's menu. In our experience, our older children were charged as adults. However, our older children ordered from the children's menu and were brought larger portions of the child meals. This was a good compromise for us. My daughter was always too spellbound by the Princesses to eat too much but I still found the experience worth it.
And mom to mom, both of my picky eaters are much more adventurous eaters now. We all smile when we think what a difference a few years can make!
Betina, thank you for stopping by with your question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
