Hi Mary! Anticipating a trip to Walt Disney World
is exciting- I hope the time goes quickly for you! Having a relative in a power wheelchair myself, I understand your wanting to know ahead of time which activities and attractions will be accessible. I have good news- both
Winter Summerland and
Fantasia Gardens are power wheelchair accessible-you will all be able to enjoy a fun game of miniature golf!
I might also suggest that upon arrival at your resort hotel, or when you arrive at each of the theme parks, you will want to ask for a Guide for Guests with Disabilities. There is one for each park, and they are like the regular park maps, but with extra information on accessibility, transfer requirements, etc. These will come in very handy during your trip.
I hope this information is helpful to you and your family. I wish you all a very magical vacation and please don't hesitate to come back to the Moms Panel and ask me any more questions you have!
