Hello, Could you please tell me if water shoes are allowed in the resort pools. I am taking my family in July and the cement around the pool is blazing in the summer. I was thinking this would help with little burning feet? Thanks

Hey, hey Carrie and welcome back to the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, muppetational place to help you plan your next magical Disney vacation, the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are wise as Owl from the Hundred Acre Wood to protect those tootsie toes while walking around the magnificent Disney Resort hotel pools in July. It will be toasty and everyone should protect their feet poolside to be able to walk the theme parks.

Yes, you may wear swim shoes around the pools and even at Disney Water Parks. Some Cast Members (Disney speak for employees) may ask to remove the shoes before going on water slides while others allow it. I recommend asking before climbing up to the top of the slide.

Disney Dad Tip: I like to get down to the pool early to get lounge chairs. Ask which chairs will be the most shaded throughout the day and grab those chairs.

Carrie, have a splash-tastic time and enjoy making many Magical Memories.
