Hi, Patricia!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. The Disneyland Hotel is a wonderful choice for your stay! The rooms are quite large for standard accommodations and have been recently renovated to include chic, modern furnishings with a touch of Disney magic, including striking wooden headboards featuring fiber-optic fireworks for your very own in-room light and music show with the flip of a switch!
Rooms with an upgraded view (as opposed to standard view rooms) may have a view of either the pool area or the Downtown Disney District and theme parks. There are Upper Level Resort/Pool View rooms in each of the three towers at the Disneyland Hotel, so if you’re hoping to stay in a specific tower with a view of the parks, it’s best to call in advance and have this request noted on your reservation. However, do keep in mind that accommodation requests are not guarantees. While Disney makes every effort to grant Guests’ special requests, they cannot be guaranteed with certainty.
The pools are comfortably heated and open year-round. You’ll find luxurious lounge chairs and an atmosphere that is perfect for fun and relaxation. The Monorail Slide Pool is like an attraction in and of itself!
I hope this information is helpful, Patricia, and that your family has a wonderfully pixie-dusted visit to the Disneyland Resort! Please write back with any other questions you may have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
