Hello, Can I remove the Park Hopper ticket option from my resort package reservation without it changing my package rate? The idea would be to utilize the savings to buy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Tickets instead as we have never been.

    Hi Alisha!

I'm so happy to hear that you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation during the holiday season. The theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs are always filled with magic, but there's something extra special when you visit during the holidays! My family enjoyed our last Walt Disney World Resort vacation this past November and December and we had such an incredible time. Be sure to consider adding Memory Maker to your trip so you can capture and save all of the incredible memories you make during your vacation.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a fun special event, where you can celebrate the magic of Christmas in Magic Kingdom. I love the special Christmas entertainment and it's so much fun to get complimentary cookies and hot cocoa throughout the theme park! While theme park tickets can be upgraded to add additional admission days to your ticket, additional options to your ticket or even upgraded your ticket to an Annual Pass, unfortunately, tickets cannot be downgraded. So if you have already purchased your ticket, you won't be able to downgrade your ticket to remove the Park Hopper Option or exchange the Park Hopper Option for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket.

You can always still purchase tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to enjoy this special evening or you can choose to enjoy many of the other holiday events at Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to visit the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, where you can get a taste of holiday celebrations around the World. You should also plan on visiting the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail, where you will enjoy beautifully decorated trees that are each perfectly themed for your Disney holiday. Finally, you will definitely want to follow the Disney Parks Blog as your trip approaches for the latest news and info about this year's holiday celebrations and all of the things you will be able to enjoy during your trip!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
