Hello, Can you please tell me which section/building the Junior Suite-King is located at Coronado Springs? Trying to get a sense of location and proximity at this resort with this type of room. And if it has or will be refurbished by end of fall? Thanks

Hello Colleen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort has always been one of my wife's favorite places to stay at Walt Disney World Resort. The Spanish Colonial theme and the Dining Experiences make it a truly unique experience.

With the construction of the new 15-story tower and refurbishments Resort-wide, there is a lot going on around waters of Lago Dorado.

All of the Junior Suites for Disney's Coronado Springs Resort are located in buildings 1 and 3 of the Casitas Section. This section is situated right next to the El Centro Building which houses the Dining Locations, Convention Center, Shopping and Front Desk for Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

The refurbishments at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort have been ongoing and many rooms have already been completed. While Walt Disney World Resort does not update individual rooms in terms of refurbishment status directly to Guests, you could make a request for a refurbished room when you use the Resort Online Check-In Service up to 60 days in advance of your visit or contact the Front Desk by calling (407)939-1000 a couple of days before your arrival to make inquiries.

    Have a Magical Visit!
