Hello Teresa, and welcome back to
planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by en route to your magical vacation at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I can't wait for you to experience the rustic elegance of this majestic resort. There's nothing quite like relaxing at the
Copper Creek Springs Pool soaking up a view of the resort on one side and Bay Lake on the other. Be sure to enjoy a meal at
Geyser Point Bar & Grill during your stay. This casual, lakeside eatery offers one of the best settings for a meal in all of Walt Disney World, and the grilled Portobello salad is incredible,
no cap.
Speaking of snacks and sips, your room will come equipped with a beverage cooler, approximately 19" high x 12" wide by 16.5" deep. My family tends to keep a few cans of soda, some bottled water, and restaurant leftovers in our beverage cooler. These appliances do not contain a freezer component, so if you have a medical need for a freezer, visit the front desk and a Cast Member will be happy to store your items. If you have a portable cooler with you from home, another option is to keep it filled with ice from the resort ice machines to maintain colder temperatures for things like milk or frozen breakfast items.
I hope this is helpful, Teresa! Best wishes for an enchanting stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Don't forget to check the
My Disney Experience app to see when the
Electrical Water Pageant will pass you by on Bay Lake. Thanks again for sending your question to us, and we'll see ya real soon!
