Hello, Can you please let me know where I can find information about departure and arrival terminals for cruises leaving Sydney Australia. I couldn’t find anything on the app. We set sail on the 6th Jan 2025. Thank you!

Why hello there Tamara, and a watery welcome to planDisney!

As someone who's lived and worked on the high seas for a major chunk of my life, I've got a very special place in my heart for itineraries in and around New Zealand and Australia - where I even called home for a time as a resident of Melbourne! From the looks of it, you're getting ready to set sail on a 4-Night Disney Magic at Sea Cruise from Sydney that'll take you across that temperamental Tasman Sea as you venture down to Hobart. But even before we think about getting to Tasmania, you'll need to know where to embark the ship itself - so here's some handy information currently available to fellow future seafarers:

    • According to the Disney Cruise Line website, on upcoming voyages departing on December 24, 2024 and January 6, 2025, guests will "embark from Overseas Passenger Terminal and disembark from White Bay Cruise Terminal." (I personally prefer the ease of being able to board at the Overseas Passenger Terminal right by The Rocks which was so accessible by train at Circular Quay station; the White Bay Cruise Terminal is in my opinion a much less convenient spot overall.)
    • I took a look at the schedules for the Port Authority of New South Wales just to confirm, and the Disney Wonder is currently anticipated to arrive on Monday, January 6, 2025 at her Overseas Passenger Terminal berth by 6:30 A.M. and depart by 6:45 P.M. (Local Time). The Sydney Harbour Cruise Schedule currently also anticipates that the Disney Wonder will return and berth at White Bay Cruise Terminal by 6:15 A.M. on Friday, January 10, 2025.
While there's always a chance that this information may change without prior notice, ship berthing is typically carefully planned months in advance to coordinate with all of the other vessels coming and and out of incredibly busy ports like Sydney. I hope this helps, Tamara - don't hesitate to come back to us here at planDisney and ask our Disney Cruise Line experts for all kinds of nautical knowledge as you prepare to set sail!

Here's to starting off the year with a new adventure to look forward to!
