Hello, Can you let me know if Raglan Road is good for kids? I am travelling with a 8 and 5 year old.

    Hi Nicole,

Thanks for your question! Raglan Road is one of my family's favorite restaurants at Downtown Disney. We love the atmosphere and the food. I think it's a very friendly place for all ages.

My daughters are well past the age of ordering from the kids' menu, but I have noticed that Raglan Road has one of the most extensive selections for children among the Walt Disney World restaurants -- 10 entrees to choose from, including shepherd's pie and chicken risotto.

I always favor places that offer kids more than macaroni and cheese or chicken nuggets, though those are available if that's what your children prefer.

The family-friendly entertainment at Raglan Road also starts at 6 p.m. each night, and kids are invited up on stage to participate if they like. The entertainment includes bands playing a variety of Irish songs and, of course, great Irish dancing.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you plan your Walt Disney World visit. Enjoy your time with your family!
