Hello! At the time of our WDW trip, my son will almost be 2 years old. We have the dining plan. How will he receive meals with the plan when it says it includes only guests over 3 years of age? Do we pay separately for his meals? Any info is appreciated!

    Hi Courtney!

Oh how I miss the days when my kids were that little at Walt Disney World!  Since your son is under 3, park admission is not required.  He also eats for free at any buffet style restaurant and is more than welcome to share your meals.  If you would like to order him something separate, you will pay separately for that.  We would ask for a plate for our kids and give them a little off of both of ours for him to eat.

When on the Disney Dining Plan, we usually make reservations for as many character meals as we can to get the most value out of the plan.  These character meals are mostly buffet style or family style.  Your son will get his own plate at these restaurants and will not be charged for a meal.  If you're dining at a Quick-Service restaurant, you can use your snack credits for things like fruit, a side of fries or an extra drink.

    Have a magical day!
