Bright Suns Kelly!
Welcome back to planDisney.
There are so many exciting things happening with Star Wars at both
Walt Disney World and
Disneyland. I’m going to highlight a few of my top things to look forward to, and you can find more specific information in this
Disney Parks Blog article.
First of all, both parks will receive a brand-new mission for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu. You will get to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy alongside our heroes, helping them in their mission to collect cargo. The engineer and gunner positions also have upgraded capabilities to support the group's mission. There are multiple missions available, so you can experience this fun ride over and over again.
At Disneyland, you will not get all-new character meet-and-greets featuring iconic characters such as Han Solo, Leia Organa, The Mandalorian, Grogu, R2-D2, Rey, and more. You will also be able to get new food and treats at almost all dining locations. Try the new pink milk and let me know what you think. Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga is an amazing nighttime spectacular only at Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge. On select nights, you will also be able to experience Fire of the Rising Moons. You will also be able to find all new merchandise at all locations.
Over at Walt Disney World, there are a few new additions to merchandise and food offerings at Docking Bay 7 and Rando Roasters. I’m really hoping that the new upgrades at Disneyland will be a hit and that they will be brought over here in the future. I would be on the lookout as you visit Batuu as you never know what surprises may happen.
One last thing I think you might really enjoy is
Star Wars: Datapad on Play Disney Parks Mobile App. You can use your phone to discover and play missions throughout the land. It’s so much fun!
Kelly, I hope you have a magical vacation. If you have any further questions, please stop by, and my fellow panelists and I will be happy to assist you.
May the Force be with you,
Robert
