Hello, Anyone has information on Pixar after dark event. Specifically how much of Cars is going to be incorporated I assume it will be since it’s a Pixar movie and the event is held in DCA where Cars land is. Trying to see if it’s worth it swinging by?

Hey howdy hey, Luz, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians plan their next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, so let’s get started!

I’m so glad you’re thinking about attending Disneyland After Dark: PIXAR Nite at Disney California Adventure Park! I’ve attended several Disneyland After Dark events, and I’ve had a blast! I love the unique opportunities and meet-and-greets, plus the shorter wait times for popular attractions. These Special Events offer such an amazing way to experience the parks, and I hope you decide to swing by and check out PIXAR Nite!

I checked with a Cast Member, and unfortunately, the only information that has been released about the event so far can be found on the Disney Parks Blog and the event’s homepage on Disneyland.com. I don’t see any Cars-specific opportunities or experiences listed; however, since Cars is a Pixar film, and Cars Land is a huge part of Disney California Adventure Park, I would imagine it will be included in the event in one way or another! I recommend keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog, since this is the best spot for any breaking Disney Parks news. Perhaps some additional details will be released before the event takes place on March 5, 2020!

To give you an idea what to expect, here’s a basic run-down of the event:

--Dance the night away at your choice of three interactive dance parties, including Pixar Dance Party, Incredibles Dance Party, and Monsters, Inc. Dance Party.

--Look out for Pixar pals at special spots around the park, including Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Merida, Miguel, Flik, and more!

--Celebrate by purchasing Special Event merchandise, including a special tee and keepsake tumbler. You’ll receive a commemorative credential and guide map, too.

--Enjoy unlimited Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the party!

--Don’t miss the delicious Pixar-inspired menu options at select locations throughout the park.

The party begins at 8:00 PM and ends at midnight. You can enter Disney California Adventure Park to begin your adventures as early as 5:00 PM. If you decide you’d like to purchase tickets, you can get them online here.

I hope this helps, Luz. Wishing you a rootin’, tootin’-good time!
