Hello, Am I allowed to bring two to three 33oz bottles of sealed water onboard or does it have to be a 12 or 24 case?

    Ahoy there, Latasha!

Welcome aboard planDisney! I love that you’re already charting your course for a smooth embarkation day—and can you believe you’re less than one week away from hearing that beautiful “Welcome Aboard” announcement? That first step onto the ship always makes me feel a bit like Anna throwing open the castle doors singing “For the First Time in Forever.”

Now let’s dive right into your question! The good news is that you can bring water onboard, and Disney Cruise Line gives you some flexibility on how you do it. You don’t have to bring a 12- or 24-pack—individually sealed bottles like your 33oz ones are perfectly fine. The key is that they must be packed in your carry-on luggage. No checking them with your larger bags, or they might go on an unintended adventure worthy of Buzz Lightyear.

You can bring as much water as you’re willing to carry, but keep in mind that staterooms typically aren’t ready until around 1:30 PM (sometimes a little earlier or later). So if you load up like you’re trekking across the Pride Lands, just remember you’ll be keeping those bottles with you for a bit.

If the idea of hauling around a mini-reservoir doesn’t sound like your kind of magic, you have another option: ordering bottled water from the Onboard Gifts section so it’s waiting in your stateroom. It’s pricier, but it makes embarkation day feel as smooth as Moana gliding across the open sea. And of course, you can always purchase additional water once onboard.

My personal go-to is bringing a refillable water bottle for every member of my crew. I fully admit to being a bit of a water snob—I normally avoid tap water like Sebastian avoids Chef Louis—but the water onboard a Disney ship is purified, clean, and tastes great thanks to their advanced filtration systems. I happily refill my bottle throughout the day using the drink stations and dining locations onboard.

I hope this helps you feel confident and fully prepared for embarkation day. Whether you bring big bottles, small bottles, or sail in with your refillable sidekick, you’ll have plenty of ways to stay hydrated as you soak up every magical moment.

Sea ya real soon with holiday cheer, calm seas, and magical winter memories,
    Dustin
