Hello, again. We r going to WDW for 2 weeks(yeah),? is would u suggest packing lightly & doing a couple loads of laundry,or not wasting park time?Does Pop Century have a laundry service they provide? How much does this cost? Thanks

    Hi Brenda,

I also spend 2-4 weeks at a time when we go to WDW and I definitely find that packing a bit more lightly and doing laundry while there is a good option for us.  Self service, coin operated washers and dryers are located at every WDW Resort in addition to same-day laundry and dry cleaning service. The Pop Century Resort has a very nice laundromat located right by the main pool "the Hippy Dippy Pool".  My plan of attack is to put the laundry on each cycle and then enjoy swimming while I wait for each cycle of laundry to be done....good use of time I think!  You could also go to the main building "Classic Hall" right across from the laundromat (if you don't feel like swimming while waiting) and either have a bite to eat in the food court or have a stroll around the gift shop.  There are many things to do so you are not wasting your precious WDW time doing laundry and then you don't have to bring 10 suitcases with you (as I seem to do on most of my trips....even when I think I am packing lightly LOL).

Please visit this link to another answer I gave about how much the machines cost (both dryers and washers).  I highly recommend to bring your own laundry detergent and fabric softener/dryer sheets (if you use those) as that can become quite costly to purchase at the laundromat machines for each load you do.  There are also same-day laundry and dry cleaning services available from Guest Services as I mentioned above.  Bags for this service can be found in your closet but keep in mind that this can be quite costly (especially if you have larger loads...this seems to be a good service for the business traveler with just a few items of clothing in my opinion).  I wish you a very magical vacation.

    Best wishes,
