What are the height and weight limit for the Rental Strollers that Disneyland provides? My child doesn't weigh much, but she's quite tall and most info I've found only lists weight limits. Thanks.

Hi Jonathan, and welcome to planDisney! As a mom of two young Mouseketeers, I know all too well how important a stroller can be when navigating the magic of the Disneyland Resort. I'm happy to provide some information to keep your plans rolling!

Jonathan, there are no height limits for the strollers that can be rented at the Disneyland Resort, although comfort may be a consideration. The rented strollers have a canopy overhang that can't be removed, which may be bothersome to taller kids. My kids are also quite tall. During a recent visit when we stayed longer than usual, they got tired, and we ended up renting a double stroller a few hours into the day. My oldest, who is 46 inches tall, had to bend her legs, and her head was a few inches from the top of that overhang, but she was happy to have a break from walking. It worked out, but I'm not sure how much longer she'll be able to sit comfortably in it.

Single and double strollers are available to rent just outside the Disneyland Park entrance. This location also sells a foldable, umbrella-type stroller, too, so you'll have a few options upon arrival. You can also choose to bring your own stroller, provided it meets the guidelines

While having a stroller is nice, especially when walking from one land to another, you can also incorporate lots of breaks in the day so that everyone can rest their legs. Make sure to grab a Dole Whip and take a seat for the show at the Enchanted Tiki Room. We also like Storytelling at Royal Theatre. Some attractions are especially nice on hot days, including "it's a small world" and Pirates of the Caribbean. Riding the Disneyland Railroad around the park is a lot of fun, too! My kids also love the Main Street vehicles, such as the horse-drawn street car and the two-story bus.

Of course, don’t forget the magic of meeting Characters throughout the Resort! Whether it’s encountering a Disney Princess on a royal stroll through Fantasyland or getting a big hug from Mickey Mouse himself, there are so many memorable moments waiting for your family. The Disneyland mobile app is a great tool to see which Characters are currently visiting and where to find them. Character dining is another really fun addition to any trip – we love enjoying a tasty meal while being visited by familiar faces.

Jonathan, I hope this information has sprinkled a little bit of pixie dust onto your plans. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
