Hi Jessica,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. In my opinion, a Walt Disney World vacation is not complete without a visit to Pandora – The World of Avatar. This land is spellbinding and filled with new and beautiful magic, celebrating the beauty of the natural world and honoring the cultural traditions of the Na’vi people.
There is no height restriction for
Na’vi River Journey. Guests of all heights and ages are welcome to board the reed boat that takes visitors down the river toward a gorgeous, mystical Na’vi ceremony. Jessica, this attraction is one of my favorites at Walt Disney World; not only is it incredibly beautiful, it is strangely moving as well. My children love to search for new creatures native to the Valley of Mo’ara as they glide down the river; if you wait in the standby queue, you’ll have the chance to read about the native plants and wildlife you’ll see on the river journey. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the bioluminescent beauty, mystical soundtrack, and a glimpse of a lovely Na’vi ceremony.
Jessica, after your ride on the Na’vi River Journey, be sure to stop by
Pongu Pongu for a delicious snack. I love the Pongu Lumpia, which features sweet pineapple and cream cheese in a crispy wrapper. You also won’t want to miss the delicious Night Blossom frozen drink, which is a perfect combination of refreshing and photo-worthy. If your tastes are more earthbound, it's still worth a stop for the Colossal Pretzel, which is the biggest soft pretzel I have ever seen!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
