Hi there, Victoria!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for you to stay in the iconic
Disneyland Hotel. This hotel features a wonderful mix of nostalgic and modern decor. I love picturing myself here as it was in the 1950s and 1960s. While much of this hotel is unchanged since it first opened, there are definitely a lot of new and exciting features that are available now such as
the amazing resort pools and slides. The famous Monorail Waterslides do not technically have a height requirement, but the lifeguard at the top will determine if a child is able to use the slide. Keep in mind that children must slide down on their own and cannot be held by a parent. For smaller children there are mini slides that are a wonderful option. This little pool also has fun fountains and a waterfall that children just love.
While you are staying at the Disneyland Hotel, you won't want to miss some of the great dining options within footsteps of your room. We love the tropical escape of Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar or grabbing a classic Dole Whip from The Coffee House near the pool.
Goofy's Kitchen is also a great Character Dining experience on property featuring some seriously fun eats. For a quick and casual bite, I recommend dining at Tangaroa Terrace. This is a great location for a fast breakfast of Mickey Waffles with a fantastic view of those impressive Monorail Waterslides.
I hope this helps, and I can't wait for your magical stay!
