Hi Heather M. I hear you're the resident expert on Pop Century! Currently we (family of 4, sons 9 & 11) have reservations there in Oct. Can you give me your pros/cons of this resort or anything else we should know. Trying to make sure we made ok cho

We love the Pop Century.  It's a no frill resort!!  There are no microwaves or coffee makers in the rooms.  We generally request to stay in the 1950's building.  When we were there last October it wasn't a preferred room location.  It seemed to us equidistance to the bus, parking lots as the 1960's buildings.  My kids enjoy the squirting fountain play area.  It's a bit of a diversion from the pools.  We enjoy watching the cast members do the Hustle in the Lobby most evenings.  It was truly embarrassing to my 11 year old, when her dad and I joined in on the dance.  Soon there were several parents dancing and kids gradually joined in the fun.  The bus routes are direct for the most part.  We found the buses to and from Pop Century efficient.  I would recommend a walk down Memory Lane its a lot of fun.  It's also a great conversational time with the kids.   The food court is fabulous!!  I love to order the asian noodles, while the kids would rather have burgers.  If you are a cheese cake lover, try the tie-die cheese cake!!  It's absolutely incredible!!!  I took a picture of it, because I had never seen a tie-die cheese cake in my life.  I hope you have a fabulous trip in October!! Heather M.
