    I am hearing the Kennel Club has been Closed. Say it ain't so. Please let me know. Planning a trip in January but can't come if the Kennel is gone. Thank you for your help.

    Welcome to planDisney! Whenever my family and I plan a trip, our first question after "Where do we want to go," is, "What are we doing with our dog?" Our dog is like our second child, so I completely understand wanting to ensure they are well cared for.

    Shelley, I know this news is disappointing, but unfortunately, the Disneyland Resort kennel closed in 2020. Currently, there are no plans to open a new facility. If you need to travel with your furry friend, there are still several pet-friendly Good Neighbor Hotels nearby that might be a good alternative for you.

    I'm genuinely sorry to have to confirm this news for you, Shelley, and I hope you can still visit Disneyland Resort in January. Before I let you go, I've heard some great things about several local pet boarding options in Anaheim, and they might be perfect for your pet. Before you cancel your plans, check them out and see if they might be a good fit for your furry friend.
