I have heard about the the Wanyama Safari Experience at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge but I can't seem to find a lot of information about it online. What can you tell me about this tour? Thank you!

    Jambo Dawn!

Waaannnyyyaaammmmaa! I can't read that without singing it like the opening of The Lion King for some reason, but seriously, the Wanyama Safari and Dinner Experience is incredible! It truly is a "hidden gem" for Guests staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge or Villas. Guests 8-years and older are invited on a guided hour to hour-and-a-half safari followed by a multi-course dinner at Jiko-The Cooking Place. For Guests 21 and older the dinner even offers wine pairings to compliment the fantastic flavors. The tour is offered daily at 4pm, but Guests are encouraged to arrive at 3:30 for a meet and greet reception with the animal specialist and chef. I recommend making reservations as soon as you can because there are a limited number of spots. To book a reservation or to find out current prices and more, contact Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Itinerary Planning Office at (407) 938-4755.

Be sure to go hungry as there will be a ton of food and please let me know if there is anything else I can help you plan! I hope you have an incredible vacation, Dawn!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
