Welcome back to planDisney, Julie! Thanks for stopping by!
There are a lot of exciting changes happening at the Animal Kingdom right now.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether recently made its debut at the Tree of Life theater, and while I was sad to see Dinoland U.S.A. disappear behind construction fencing, I’m really excited for the new
Tropical Americas land scheduled to open in 2027. Walt Disney said, "Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world,” and I think that’s true for every Disney Park.
You are correct that the Conservation Station and Wildlife Express will be temporarily closed to make way for a new Bluey experience, and it’s my understanding that the
Animation Experience will not be coming back when the Conservation Station reopens. I know this isn’t the news you wanted, but don’t give up hope! It sounds like the new Magic of Disney Animation at Hollywood Studios, scheduled to open in summer 2026, may offer a similar art-based experience based on
this Disney Parks Blog post. Fingers crossed!
Speaking of the Disney Parks Blog, I’d be sure to check it regularly as your trip approaches. It is your best resource for news and updates on all things Walt Disney World, including details on upcoming attractions and previews of other park offerings like new merch and snacks.
I hope you have a magic-filled vacation, Julie. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
