I just heard about the Westgate Resorts. We have always stayed in one of the Disney resorts but were wondering about this Resort. Can you give me any comments

Hi Renee!  I am sorry but I can't help you with any information about outside resorts as we are only here to help with the Disney properties.  I am sure a local travel agent might be able to help you or you could google that name on your computer to see the results.

As a return guest for many years I will share that when we head to Disney we rarely even go off property. Staying at a resort within the parameters of the parks is the best way to really enjoy your Disney experience.  With the complimentary transportation to and from the airport, buses-boats-monorails to all the parks, and the extra perks of the morning and evening Extra Magic Hours for resort guests it makes it all worthwhile. Most guests find that it is nice to know you are a quick bus ride back to the resort to rest, change clothes, or just enjoy the resort amenities. Staying off property doesn't allow that freedom quite as easy and their transportation to the parks is more infrequent. During special times you might qualify for Free Dining at a Disney resort as well making a vacation package very economical.  Check out all the amenities and prices and compare carefully before heading off to a distant place......it is truly magical at all Disney resorts!
