I've heard the week after thanksgiving is traditionally the lowest, or one of the lowest, times of the year. I'm currently having a lot of trouble booking my dining and today is the 1st day! Is there something going on?

    Hi Courtney,

Thanks for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How wonderful that you will be able to experience the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. It is my favorite time of the year to visit.

Mickey tries to help our budgets with some incredible Special Offers, such as discounts on rooms or even a reduced or even free Disney Dining Plan. This also coincides with the start of Candlelight Processional and many Guests like to experience it by booking a Candlelight Dining Package. It is possible that some restaurants will not have yet opened up fully their reservations. Additional availability may appear in the coming months.

One last tip: many Guests change their plans at the last minute; therefore, it is usually not difficult to find a reservation at the last minute. Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app, which will help you with all your planning needs, including making dining and FastPass+ reservations. Happy planning!
