I heard that there is water playing areas in both park for children. Where exactly are they? Thanks. 20 days and counting!

    Hi, Diana!

Wow, your trip to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner! I hope you and your son are getting excited for your visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth.”

There is a water play area at Disney California Adventure Park called Princess Dot Puddle Park, where fountains, sprinklers and misters provide lots of cool fun on warm California days. I have visited it many times with my son, and he always has a ball! It’s a great place for little ones to burn off some energy, and there are benches where parents can relax and watch their kids play. This area is located between Hemlich’s Chew Chew Train and Flik’s Flyers in “a bug’s land.”

While there isn’t a similar water play area at Disneyland Park, there are lots of attractions that provide an escape from the sun. A few of my favorites are Pirates of the Caribbean, it’s a small world, and the Enchanted Tiki Room! There is also a unique water fountain in Tomorrowland that attracts lots of kids on warm afternoons. In the center of this fountain is a huge marble perched on a short pedestal. A stream of water is sent up the middle of the pedestal and the tremendous water pressure causes the marble float slightly, so that with a light push, it will rotate.

I hope this helps, Diana. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as you put the finishing touches on your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
